Former Rihanna backup dancer Shirlene Quigley has been located today, after RiRi posted an emotional video of Quigley to Instagram yesterday, urging people to contact police if they’d seen her.
The dancer, who had also worked with Missy Elliott and Beyoncé, was reported missing after she missed a phone call with her father and cryptically told a friend that they would need to substitute for her. She had last been seen at a bus station in NYC and police found her phone in a bridal store in Chelsea.
Thankfully, North Bergen Police Department are now reporting that she’s been found safe and is being treated, although it’s not clear for what:
“After an extensive search by North Bergen Police Department Detectives in cooperation with the NYPD, we have located SHIRLENE QUIGLEY. She is safe and at a medical facility which location is undisclosed at this time.“North Bergen Police Detectives have contacted her father and he is in route from Los Angeles to reunite with his daughter. We are very pleased with this outcome. We want to thank the New York City Police Department for their tremendous amount of cooperation in this matter.”
