Fifty thousand years have passed since Alex Dyson and Matt Okine left the brekky slot at Triple J, and a fair bit has happened since then. Dyson took a swing at politics, Okine cranked out a TV show and penned a book, and their successors, Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton, are now on the move themselves.

The inexorable march of time slows for no-one. Except for the Australian Recording Industry Association, which has booked Matt & Alex for a reunion at the 2019 ARIA Awards ceremony.
