Forget Powderfinger and AC/DC, Australians are finally paying tribute to our greatest musical export of all time, The Wiggles.
Local acts including, The Living End, Adalita, Jebediah Bluejuice, Frenzal Rhomb, Spiderbait, Sarah Blasko, Oh Mercy, Clare Bowditch, The Snowdroppers, Papa Vs Pretty, Sons of Rico, Dead letter Chorus and Architecture In Helsinki will interpreting Wiggles classics for a covers album to be released by ABC Music.
Rewiggled, due out November 4, will showcase 20 of Australia’s finest bands, singing 20 of their kids’ favourite songs, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the phenomenon that is The Wiggles.
