Kanye West’s favourite rapper Lil Wayne, 30, is reportedly in ‘a critical condition’ and ‘a medically induced coma’ at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. after having suffered multiple seizures; that is, if you believe reports filed by TMZ.
On Tuesday this week Wayne, full name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., supposedly received treatment for seizures at the same hospital. He was later discharged before being re-admitted a day later after he was reportedly found unconscious by his security team.
It’s understood by “Sources” that after having his stomach pumped three times following the discovery of high amounts of codeine in his system, Wayne’s condition did not stabilise and he was placed in a medically induced coma in the intensive care unit.
Those Most Zealous are reporting that a number of Weezy’s contemporaries and his mother are rushing to his bedside where “major decisions about Wayne’s health (including the decision to discontinue life support)” will be made upon her arrival.
UPDATE: However, according to Young Money label president Mark Maine he’s going to be just fine:

In what appear to be the final updates on this cool story, bro: Young Money publicist Sarah Cunningham acknowledged that yes, Lil Wayne did suffer from multiple seizures; Wayne’s independent publicist Kia Selby strongly denies that he’s in a medically induced coma as reported by TMZ; other label affiliates are reporting that he’s “in good spirits and will be home soon.”
