After being a strictly adults-only event for the last 14 years, Laneway Sydney has announced it’ll be opening the gates up to 16 and 17-year-olds from 2020, making the whole whip around the country a more accessible party for younger punters.

To celebrate the fact that Laneway is extremely for the kids now, the Sydney leg is releasing a drop of youth tickets for those aged 16 and 17. The first drop of tickets is being released from 9am Wednesday, December 18, will set you back a tidy $139.90 + fees, and the first 1000 tickets in the bag come with a sick free glow-in-the-dark poster.
Scoring one of the first youth tickets to Laneway Sydney means that you’ll get bragging rights when you get back to school to say that you spent your weekend partying with the likes of The 1975, Charli XCX, RUEL, Earl Sweatshirt, Tones And I, Last Dinosaurs, and a whole smorgasbord more.
Or, if you’re looking for a bunch of brownie points with your brother/sister/cousin, this is a bloody grouse Christmas present to sneak in right before the 25th.
