If you’re a curmudgeonly old bat, too pissy for music festivals (all day in the hot, hot sun!), then you’re probably better suited to Laneway Festival sideshows. That way you defs get an hour-and-a-half set out of your fave act, without having to ever set foot inside of a portaloo.
Should any of these Laneway acts take your fancy, then wahey, it’s a wonderful kind of day, ‘cos you’ve deffo got the chance to see these internationals come late January/February.
The list of internationals performing headline Laneway Festival sideshows so far includes Japanese-American indie-pop singer-songwriter Mitski, who will punch you right in the feels; US garage-pop band Parquet Courts; 19-year-old American pop singer Clairo; US up-and-coming R&B star Ravyn Lenae; American rappers Denzel Curry and Smino; Jamaican-born trap house jazz muso, Masego; English slacker singer-songwriter Yellow Days; and the previously announced English electronic legend Jon Hopkins.

If you were hoping to see A Boogie wit da Hoodie or Jorja Smith, sorry mates, they’re Laneway exclusives. But some of the Aussie headliners – like Camp Cope and Courtney Barnett – may announce their own Laneway Festival sideshows closer to the date.
We’ll keep updating this list as more shows are announced, so check back often wouldn’t ya?
The 15th annual Laneway Festival kicks off in February next year, reaching Brissie, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbs and Fremantle.
