Continuing to pursue the philosophy that the only meaningful way to get non-Australians anyone to care about the ARIA Awards is to populate it with famous non-Australians, award winning candy enthusiast Katy Perry has been announced as a special guest presenter at this year’s ARIA Awards.
The performer best known for perfecting the victim-to-victory pop anthem most conducive to inspiring lazy people to go to the gym more and possessing the supernatural ability to shoot whipped cream from her breasts is currently in the country as part of her nation spanning Prismatic Tour.
“I’m honoured to be acknowledged in the International category, especially during my residency here in Australia on the Prismatic World Tour,” Perry said. “I’m looking forward to spending the evening getting to know Australia’s finest musicians.”
Yeah you are.
