Katy Perry Will Be A Guest Judge On ‘MasterChef’ This Year Which Is Both Hot & Cold

Although technically speaking Katy Perry has appeared on literally every episode of MasterChef Australia ever put to air, this year Perry is making her first actual appearance on the show as a, get this, guest judge.

It turns out that while Perry was in the country performing at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final in Melbourne, which turned out to be probably the last mass major mass gathering event in Australia for quite some time, the US singer also found the time to stop by MasterChef HQ to appear as a guest judge on an episode of the upcoming All Star season MasterChef: Back to Win.

MasterChef AU officials revealed the cameo last night on social media, showing Perry alongside the new judging trio of Andy AllenMelissa Leong, and Jock Zonfrillio.

Perry, according to officials at Channel Ten, will be a guest judge during an Immunity Challenge which raises several questions: Is Perry a secret food gun who the contestants will have to battle against in order to obtain a pin? Does she have some sort of world-defining panna cotta recipe in her back pocket that she’ll whip out to beat the returning players senseless? Are they gonna do a Masked Singer crossover by having the competing pro come in dressed as Left Shark?

Hard to bloody say.

MasterChef: Back to Win is scheduled to air on Channel Ten at some point in the not-too-distant future.
