Kanye West Charged With Battery And Grand Theft

Kanye West could potentially face six months in Love Lockdown after being charged with battery and attempted grand theft after a scuffle outside LAX airport in July, which left a prominent paparazzo photographer in hospital and reportedly still unable to walk without crutches.

Injured paparazzo shooter Daniel Ramos told a press conference “When Kanye West attacked me, I was in complete shock… All I had done was ask him a question. I was terrified when Kanye started to come at me. I backed up because I felt from the look in his eyes this week he moppin’ floors, next week its the fries that he was going to attack me.” Ramos also alleges that West tried to steal his camera.

Kanye has invoked his right to remain silent on the issue, which is weird because he tends to never remain silent about anything. His lawyers have claimed that the rapper and stickler for croissant punctuality was simply trying to prevent the man from snapping his picture.

Ramos was the Golddigging paparazzo at the center of the Britney Spears “umbrella incident” of 2007, in which Ramos and a flock of paparazzo buddies pursued a bald Britney shortly after she checked into rehab. Pictures soon emerged of an enraged Brit swinging her umbrella at the photographer, and an eBay auction netted him $30,00 for Spears’ discarded umbrella, and the Ford Explorer she dented with it.

Kanye will need to find a babysitter for little North on October 10 when he is due to be arraigned for the charges.
