It’s a Christmas Miracle! Adolescent pop sensation turned pretty douchey young adult pop sensation Justin Bieber has announced during a radio interview in LA that he’s likely to retire from music at the ripe old age of 19, and plans to stop Beliebin’ after he releases his next album. (That sound you just heard was about a billion preteen girls crying out in despair, and immediately shifting their focus to obsessing over One Direction.)
Bieber’s upcoming album Journals is due on December 23 (released just in time to be a last minute Christmas gift for someone you don’t like very much), and he told Power 106 FM that after that “…I’m actually retiring. I’m retiring man. I’m just gonna take some time. I think I’m probably going to quit music.” Bieber’s people reportedly later said he was joking, but J-Bieb hasn’t made a proper confirmation either way.
If Bieber does retire (finally giving him some time to focus on his other loves, really questionable street art and prostitutes) I suppose we’ll have to say goodbye to these.
