As we’ve previously reported Julian Casablancas of The Strokes fame has a new solo album dropping very soon. Phrazes For The Young is the title and it’s either going to satisfy every Strokes fan-boy or be just another arrow through the heart as we they await the band’s long-awaited fourth album.
Casablancas recently released a short interview clip on his website, his first on-camera appearance in almost 3 years.

He says his goal with the new album was to inspire, and despite his usual laconic ‘just-woken-up’ charisma, he’s got us pretty excited! Sounds like he may have snuck in a few Bach or Mozart throw backs.
