Julian Casablancas continues to not take himself too seriously with the Tron inspired video for “11th Dimension” one of the more 80’s inspired (read: endearingly cheesy) cuts from his debut solo album “Phrazes For The Young”.
The clip harks back to the neon silhouettes + vector eye candy of The Strokes’ “12:51” video then breaks to keytars, spirit fingers, microphone acrobatics, sleevelessness and studded vests. In other words ocular proof that his detached cooler than thou persona is dead. Now all he’s left with is that steadfast drawl and the number one spot on our “Dudes we’d love to have a beer with” list.
