Japanese Wallpaper At Newtown Social

Produced in association with our mates at NSW Health

Baby it’s cold outside, but getting hot in herre – at Newtown Social, that is, where the indo electro, just-turned-18 muso Japanese Wallpaper packed out the place.

The only downside to packed out music venues, as far as we can see, is that it’s A++ conditions for spreading the flu virus around. It’s hot, sweaty, and probably got a bit of body contact going on. Flu nasties live for those conditions, and all you need is one snifflin’ larrikin near you to pass it on.

It’s like that old saying *definitely* goes: Find a flu, pick it up, all week long you’ll have no luck.

The NSW Government are fighting for our health this winter, by reminding us that [insert your best infomercial voice]: ~there’s another way~. One that isn’t sneezing into your elbows and hoping no one notices (guilty).

Catch it, bin it, kill it – easy to remember, and pretty easy to do, tbh. Basically, if you feel a sneeze building, grab a tissue, do your business, then chuck it and wash your hands, ya grommet. Help stop the flu spread.
