Interview Reveals Zayn Malik & 1D Aren’t M8s, 1Ders Collectively Lose It

So – and we’re just reading between the lines here – it would seem that things between Zayn Malik and the remaining members of One Direction are not all that chill.

A massive feature on the former ‘bad boy’ of One Direction (who defected in March 2015) came out in Billboard today, and there’s some pretty telling stuff about the One Directioner exiter and his four former bandmates / bestest mates in the world Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne.

“Asked what he accomplished as a member of the group, and he offers an inscrutable, possibly ironic answer: “Status. The capability to restrain certain things I would want to do. I also learned it’s good to keep friends. Because you don’t know when you’re going to make new ones, so you should probably just keep the old ones.””
