In September of last year, the culturally astute denizens of Brisbane renamed the Hale Street Link the Go-Between Bridge which is fitting for more than one reason and cause for next month’s Go-Between Bridge concert which will see Go-Betweens member Robert Forster as well as Angus and Julia Stone, Josh Pyke, Bob Evans, Yves Klein Blue and John Steel Singers officially open the structure with a live performance on the bridge itself.
As with all things that exist in 2010 the event has a Facebook and Twitter account to keep everyone up to date. For our Brisbane readers, the action kicks off from 4pm on Friday the 25th of June and tickets will be available from tomorrow at Qtix.
