According to lead singer Florence Welch, Florence and the Machine have already begun work on the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut album “Lungs”. Bucking the ‘wait until your current album is on its last gasp’ trend, Florence has already started working on tracks, which she describes as “heavier” and “punkier” than her debut. Like Lungs, the album is being produced by Paul Epworth, who has worked with the likes of Primal Scream, Bloc Party and The Rapture and is also a prolific remixer under the moniker Phones.
