Eminem Is Bringing His Slim & Shady Self To Australia For A Stadium Tour

Could the real Slim Shady fans pls stand up ‘coz yr boi Eminem is reportedly set to tour Australia for the first time in five years in 2019 to support his latest album Kamikaze.

The 45-year-old is set to kick off his Rapture 2019 tour in Brisbane at QSAC on February 20 before heading to Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on February 22, the MCG on February 24 and hitting up Perth for the very first time at Optus Stadium on February 27.

The outspoken rapper has always had a huge following here in Australia, his most recent album being his ninth to debut at #1 Down Under.

Despite the commercial success of Kamikaze, the album has received mixed reviews from critics with many slamming the rapper for his use of homophobic slurs.

Eminem recently addressed the backlash that resulted from the release of his album.

“I think the word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like this might be too far,” he said in an interview with Sway“Because in my quest to hurt him, I realise that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it….It was one of the things that I kept going back to and going ‘I don’t feel right with this.’”
