New Drake is coming – and soon.
The next album’s named after his star sign: it’s called Scorpion, and you’ll be able to hear it in June. It was announced on Drake’s back with a black bomber jacket, which literally spelt out every detail we have.

Technically speaking, Scorpion will be Drake’s fifth album, as a deluge of albums-by-another-name were released as mixtapes, including last year’s More Life.
He’s been teasing the album, which he’s been recording in his home, for a little while: More Life ends with the line “I’ll be back 2018 to give you the summary”, for starters.
Then there was the two track EP in January, which featured ‘God’s Plan’, the video of which saw Drizzy give out just shy of USD $1 million on the streets of Miami.
His new single ‘Nice For What’ – assumedly from Scorpion – just took over ‘God’s Plan’ for the #1 spot on the US Billboard Charts. The star-studded music video probably didn’t hurt.
Just before the bomber jacket post, he shared a pic of a gold chain with a scorpio. Combining the two images, it’s pretty clear Drake’s a big fan of Drive, the ’80s synth-and-violence drenched Nicolas Winding film starring Ryan Gosling.

What can we expect? Well, if this means Drake (born October 24) is embracing his scorpion traits, we can expect emotionally charged songs that zone in on themes of trust, honesty, true friendship, bravery and resourcefulness. Wait a minute…
