Triple J’s Bringin’ SITG To Yr House Again With A Stacked Live Broadcast

It’s that time again where you can either sit and wallow in the FOMO while you quietly scroll through Instagram and Facebook, miserably double-tapping on everyone’s not-at-all-curated snaps from Splendour In The Grass, or you can chuck on the radio and spend the whole weekend listening to Triple J‘s live broadcast from the meadows of North Byron Parklands.

Yep, just like the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, the national youth broadcaster will once again be coming to you live and loud from the festival, playing some of the hottest sets from the weekend so you can close your eyes and feel like you’re in the thick of it, but also have access to your own personal toot and order in food. Can you do that at the fezzy? No, you can’t.

Truly, the whole weekend is stacked out with live sets from a choice bunch of 48 live sets from some of the big hitters on the stage, from Lorde to Vampire Weekend, to Gang of YouthsMethyl EthelStella DonnellyMiguelKhalidCHVRCHESGirl Talk and Australia‘s favourite festival band, The Wombats.

As well as bringing live performances, Triple J is broadcasting some of the fun and frivolity from behind the scenes, with Ben & LiamLinda MariglianoBridget Hustwaite and Richard Kingsmill on the ground all weekend.

The ABC is also taking Rage to the festival again, with Dylan Alcott hosting a v. spesh episode from the long weekend, which will be on your TV on July 28.

Check out the lineup and set times below, and rejoice because YOU don’t have run from stage to stage. Hell, you don’t even have to put pants on and get off the couch if you don’t want to. Or maybe just chuck a huge weekend-long rager and invite all your friends and throw a mini-festival in your backyard. Have a doof stick crafternoon. BYO booze and snacks and environmentally-friendly glitter.
