Australia, welcome back Sliverchair‘s main man, Daniel Johns to the scene: following Johns’ stirring rendition of Smells Like Teen Spirit at Triple J’s Beat The Drum this month, John’s has officially broken his hiatus, debuting “Aerial Love” today on Triple J.
Collaborating with Lorde’s co-writer Joel Little, “Aerial Love” enters new territory for Johns – diverting from Silverchair’s sound, “Aerial Love” is soulful, perhaps overly smooth and he’ll be copping “Daniel Timberlake” jokes for this, but we can certainly dig it. Daniel Johns is set to release an EP in the coming months; details and pre-ordering can be found this-a-way.
