New Mum Cardi B Pulls Out Of Bruno Mars Tour To Focus On Health & Baby

Bodak Yellow artist Cardi B has made the decision to withdraw from Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic World Tour, sharing she isn’t ready, mentally or physically, to return to the stage after just giving birth to her beautiful first baby, Kulture Kiari Cephus on July 11.

Little Kulture is just 17-days-old.

The 24K Magic Tour is currently underway with Cardi previously scheduled to perform in September across North America. The world tour is set to wrap in November.

Posting to her Instagram Cardi wrote about her decision, revealing she had “underestimated this whole mommy thing.”

Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road. I hope you guys understand that this decision has been the hardest to make but I have to do what’s best for myself and my baby!

Thank you Bruno for being so supportive and understanding.

Cardi captioned the post on her Instagram “I hope you guys understand. This has been such a hard decision. I want to thank @brunomars for understanding.”

Following Cardi’s announcement, Bruno also shared a message to his social media wishing the very best to his fellow artist:

Most important thing is you and your family’s health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honour.

Please give your baby girl a hug for me and a hug on behalf of everyone on The 24k Magic Tour.
