Hey everybody, what’s popping? Yr girl Cardi B has given birth to her first bubba with husband Offset on Tuesday. The muso pair named their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus and honestly, I don’t hate it.
The 25-year-old took to Instagram to share the exciting announcement with a V. Beyonce-esque photo.
Slay. Just, slay.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper previously told Ellen DeGeneres that it was her bae who picked out the baby’s name.
“My dude named the baby. I really like the name. Imma let him say the name since he named the baby,” she teased during the daytime interview back in April. “It’s, like, almost tricky but when it comes out, it’s like, ‘Ahh!’”
Interestingly, the Migos singer recently named his album Culture and Culture II and we cannot confirm or deny if the baby is an eccentric form of promo. As for the baby’s middle name, it’s defs in honour of her dad, Kiari.
Despite announcing their engagement via an on-stage proposal in October last year, it was recently revealed that the pair had already gotten hitched in Atlanta a month before on September 20, 2017.
TMZ obtained the their marriage license that was filed in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday, June 25. The document uses the couple’s real names, Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar (Cardi B) and Kiari Kendrell Cephus (Offset), and states that they “were united in marriage” by a minister.
The rapper then took to Twitter to confirm the news with a lengthy post about the situation.
