Brand new Blink-182 is very confusing for us all.
Gone are the days of ‘Enema of the State’ and Tom DeLonge; please welcome the new era of ‘California’, and Alkaline Trio‘s Matt Skiba on guitar.
And to confuse the world even more, Blink released their second single off of their new EP, ‘Built This Pool’ last week. It is 14 seconds long.
The confusing part is that they released it on Youtube on loop, to form 10 solid hours.
However, it does contain possibly one of the greatest lyrics of all time:
“I wanna see some naked dudesThats why I built this pool.”
And that is all.
People were extremely confused:
Apparently people think “Built This Pool” is supposed to be taken seriously?

@CBCMusic @blink182 I love the “Built This Pool” song but it starts to get old 8 hours in.

And people trolled, obviously:
And this guy may have just wasted 10 whole hours of his life. That’s 600 minutes. 36,000 seconds.

ADDITIONAL TIDBIT: Blink’s EP ‘California’ comes out July 1st, which would normally be the 182nd day of the year. Cute, right? Except that with 2016 being a leap year, it’s actually the 183rd day of the year. We are unsure if Blink’s marketing team know this.
