Thrash-party duo DZ Deathrays, Gold Coasting surf-punk duo Bleeding Knees Club and mash-up maestros Yacht Club DJs are coming together in both Sydney and Melbourne ahead of their Splendour bender for ‘Call The Cops‘ – a one off night of thrash, mash and (probably) sweat rash that Pedestrian are proud to present. Each act has undergone a pretty respectively stellar past year. BKC just wrapped a national headline tour after releasing the Dev Hynes-produced ‘Nothing To Do‘; YCDJs’ third and most recent mix tape ‘They Mostly Come At Night… Mostly‘ sent them on a nation-wide sell-out tour; and DZDs have cemented their ones-to-watch status with nods from NME, Arj Barker and an as-we-speak European headlining Bloodstream tour that’ll see them move onto the States and beyond before they return for Call The Cops, Spin Off and Splendour appearances.
Drunk Mums will offer as much support as a drunk mum can in Melbourne and The Fabergettes will do the same in Sydney. The three acts will also drop a tour EP available at the shows that’ll feature a DZ Deathrays track, Bleeding Knees Club track and Yacht Club DJs remixes of both.
