Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange Drop Surprise Statement Addressing Family Feud

The Knowles Carter Beygency have released a damage control statement to the AP [BCC: Olivia Pope] addressing for the first time the drama of Monday past, when TMZ leaked footage of – ugh, you know what happened.
The statement itself is an admirable attempt to humanise an otherwise untouchable family of demigods in light of “the unfortunate incident”, for which both Jay and Solange “assume their share of responsibility,” and somehow manages to say everything and nothing all at once.
Ultimately, it appears the crude crucible of The Standard elevator and your hackneyed one liners about 100 Problems have done nothing to weaken the bonds of the First Family, who ostensibly remain united and stronger than ever.

The full statement reads:
As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continues in a way that really doesn’t reflect too kindly on Solange’s natural disposition if the behaviour caught on tape is not considered erratic, or at the very least, intoxicated.
At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
Not likely, Bey. <3
Solange too has independently seen the error in her ways in trying to expunge Beyoncé from the historical record, taking to Instagram to share her own four #TBTs, the first of which is the following unimpressed #stronglook:
