We’ve watched the weird trajectory of Baptiste Giabiconi’s career from male model to Karl Lagerfeld footmaiden and now branching into pop music with a newly released single called “Showtime” – which he debuted on French tv show ‘le bureau’. Singing has proven to be a natural career progression for models: many have tried their hand at singing – Karen Elson, Milla Jovovich, Irina Lazareanu, even Naomi Campbell – at some point with varying success. Truth be told Baptiste’s track which has been mixed by 50 Cent has a pretty decent hook that you can imagine playing on club dance floors…
