Abbie Cornish, best known to Aussies for her roles in Somersault and Candy, is said to be readying her first rap record. Yes, you read that right.
In case Iggy Azealia didn’t cop enough flak this year for being a white, Australian girl doing to the hippity-hop, Cornish, who recently starred in a reboot of RoboCop that you definitely all saw at the cinema, told HipHollywood that her dream is to collaborate with Eminem, and that her first EP is almost done. She’ll also be opening for Nas when he comes to Australia in January, which we’re sure Hilltop Hoods and Illy will be totally cool with.
Bad footage has emerged of Cornish rapping at some point in 2007. You can watch that below, but in that light, she could well be Lara Bingle.
