A$AP Rocky, otherwise known as the bastard son of Kanye West and Margiela, has just dropped the video for his first single off his much-delayed and anticipated major label debut, Long.Live.A$AP, out in January.
True to theme, it features a highly stylised Rocky sitting on a throne surrounded by television screens and is propelled forward by the kind of half-time, pants-dropping beat he’s become famous for. The best part about any A$AP Rocky clip is playing ‘pick the designers’; the kid is a huge fan of Rick Owens, Givenchy and Jeremy Scott among others, and often namechecks them in his songs. He also appears to be wearing a dress of some sort in one of the scenes, which means it’s officially gone from ‘Strange thing that Yeezy does’ to ‘YOLO’ in a matter of weeks.
MTV US are hogging the uncensored version, but you can still indulge in all the bleeped out, black-and-white trill right here:
