360 Shares His Favourite Songs Of All Time

Here’s a list of songs I listen to regularly, some are my favourite songs of all time, some are just current bangers…But I give my thoughts on each one. Enjoy.

Schoolboy Q ft Kendrick Lamar – “Collard Greens”
This song like so many of Kendrick’s. It’s so unique and in its own lane. It sounds like nothing I’ve ever heard before. The beat is banging. The raps are different but dope as fuck. I bump this regularly.
Hopsin – “Ill Mind of Hopsin 5”
I like Hopsin as a rapper. Everything I like of his sounds like Eminem in his prime. So that’s a good thing. But the knowledge Hopsin drops on this track is ridiculous. This dude really sums up modern society so well in this song.
Eminem – “Stan”
One of the best songs of all time. I loved this song when I first heard it but where my life’s at right now I can actually relate to it.
Coldplay – “Lost”
Such an incredible song. Not much else to say.
Drake – “The Language”
Drake is one of the most hated rappers/singers in the game. But anyone who says “Drake can’t rap” is a hater and from now on their opinion doesn’t matter. Drake is a BEAST. I love his cadence and flow in this song. It’s so catchy. It’s dope. I’m not a big fan of Birdman but I actually enjoy him on this song.
Jay Z ft Eminem – “Renegade”
This song is crazy. Em’s verse is a perfect display of technical rap. If you’re someone who likes multi syllables and crazy wordplay, listen to Em’s verse on this song. This dude rhymes words you would never think are possible to rhyme. A lot of people don’t give much credit to Jigga on this song but I think his verse is dope. It’s just hard to shine against such a brilliant verse from Eminem.
Nas – “N.Y. State Of Mind”
This song is one of the best hip hop songs of all time. It’s that classic early 90’s golden era shit. This song is killer. Illmatic is one of the best albums of all time but the beat on “N.Y. State Of Mind” makes me feel a type of way. I think it’s that piano roll in the sample. Incredible. “I never sleep cos sleep is the cousin of death” – dope.
Radiohead – “Idioteque”
Radiohead are easily one of the best bands of all time because they were never afraid to experiment and make some weird trippy shit. I have no idea what Thom Yorke is talking about in this song, but as a song I fucking love it.
Jay Z – “99 Problems”
Only recently did i come to find out that ‘I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one’ was originally in an Ice T song. Still, that being said, Jigga destroys this song on every level. The beat is one of my favourite beats of all time, and his raps are next level.

Drake – “Tuscan Leather”
If you’re a Drake hater, and think he can’t rap just listen to this song. If you still think he can’t rap, your opinion is no longer valid.
Notorious B.I.G – “Party and Bullshit”
My favourite Biggie song. It’s just a fucking dope jam.
Childish Gambino – “3005”
This song is a really good song to put on while you’re driving around. Donald keeps growing, constantly getting better. Dude’s got so much talent, crazy singing voice and dope flow and lyrics too. I think the dude is gonna continue to go from strength to strength.

James Blake – “Retrograde”
James Blake makes some great songs, not all of them are my kinda thing. But this song hits me every time I listen to it, his vocal is incredible. I shamelessly sing along to this whenever it comes on. Should see me when I’m alone and I play this song.
