Top Aussie Fashion Bloggers On The One Thing They’d Buy If $$ Was No Object

Say what you will about fashion bloggers, but damn do they know how to shop. Whether you fill your Instagram feed with their styled pics, or just follow one or two, it’s 100% non-negotiable that they are at the forefront of what’s about to land in our shopping wish lists.

We wanted to know what Australia’s top fashion guys and gals planned on buying next – so we hit them up about what investment piece they’d be splurging on if they had a sweet stack of cash on hand.

ELEANOR PENDLETON, GRITTY PRETTY
“The Prada Astrology bag is extremely tempting. Although right now I’m completely enamoured with furniture. I’ve just bought my first property – and am now basically broke as a result – so a spare few grand to spend on this MCM House Hudson or Avalon Table wouldn’t go a stray. In my dreams.”
TASH SEFTON, THEY ALL HATE US

“I already bought a jumbo Chanel 2.55 bag which was like buying a small car! I still hint each Christmas for a Cartier Love Bracelet, and every year they go up in value so my husband really needs to get onto that! Or maybe the perfect camel coloured Chanel jumbo classic, which Karl needs to design as they haven’t done this colour since the 80’s.”

TALISA SUTTON,
BADLANDS

“Right now I have my eye on the new Chanel Gabrielle Hobo bag. I love the versatility of the straps, and how it feels modern while still retaining that classic Chanel charm.”
ELLE FERGUSON, THEY ALL HATE US

“There’s this beaded blue mini dress by Balmain that Kim K wore on her hens night in Paris… that dress actually needs to be mine!”

“The Cotton Garbadine Sculptural Trench from Burberry, as I’ve always wanted to own something from the label. I’m obsessed with oversized and trenches so it would be perfect for my wardrobe.”
KAITLYN HAM, KAITY MODERN

“I’d buy something ultra-classic and timeless yet elusive, like a CÉLINE Box Bag in a rare finish like black snakeskin. To me it’s the ultimate basic bag that’s both practical and minimal and yet makes a bold statement.”
BROOKE TESTONI, BROOKETESTONI.COM

“If money was no option I would buy a Chanel Boy Bag. It’s a timeless classic. Unfortunately with purchasing a new house and a renovation underway, the bank balance is not liking the look of the price – haha!”
ISABELLA WIGHT, VIEWS OF NOW

“Although for broke university student the thought of spending $1,000+ on anything is somewhat unfathomable, if I ever had that amount of money it’d be going towards some Isabel Marant. I’m a sucker for her effortless Parisian aesthetic and the bohemian Western edge that peppers every collection. The Etoile Dallin Embroidered Leather Boots are kind of outrageous and that’s what I like about them. My mum is also Texan so at least I’d be able to justify my outlandish purchase by appealing to her patriotism. Plus they’d look really freaking cute with denim.
NADIA BARTEL, CHRONICLES OF NADIA
“At the moment it would be anything Gucci because I honestly can’t get enough of it. I would pick one of their luxe Dionysus embroidered shoulder bags. There is this black leather style which features gold studs, hand painted edges and embroidered floral applique. I am obsessed.”
