Jack Black recently started a YouTube channel with his son called Jablinski Games. Within two weeks, the channel has amassed an impressive 2.9 million subscribers, despite having only an announcement video and one to celebrate the first 1 million subs. The actor recently posted his first actual gaming video and folks, it rules.
Black doesn’t jump straight into some high-tier modern gaming, though, he starts us off with some vintage pinball machines instead. Essentially, it’s him and his son wandering around an old-school pinball arcade playing some absolutely classic units while making god-level gags.
You can check out the video below.
The dude even sings Smash Mouth at the Shrek machine, which should actually be a requirement of play if we’re being honest. The best part is the clip doesn’t feel forced or over the top, it’s simply Black being a dork around old pinball machines which he is clearly genuinely excited about.
As I mentioned in a previous yarn, all of the videos are edited and produced by Black’s teenage son, Sam. There are no bells and whistles, but that’s what makes it so much fun. No doubt the actor could afford to have a crew do all of this professionally, but it just wouldn’t be the same.
I’m genuinely excited to see where he takes this next.
