‘Love Island’: Teddy Calls Eden “Possessive”, Says Erin Wasn’t To Look At Him

We might have just days to go with Love Island Australia, but it seems like the real drama’s hitting right now.

Teddy spoke to Popsugar after his elimination from the show last night, and the stuff he had to say about Eden and Erin… hoo boy.

The gist of it is this. Remember when Teddy entered the villa and immediately picked Erin for his date? Yeah, he says he doesn’t regret that in the slightest – even though it’s the action that put Eden off him for the entire time he was there.

Furthermore, he reckons the whole thing went down VERY differently to how it was made out on TV.

“When Erin and I had our date, we got along like a house on fire, we were joking, we were laughing, Erin actually said what a great guy I was, and how we need more guys like me in the villa,” he said. “But pretty much after that Eden told Erin that she wasn’t allowed to talk to me, look at me, she wasn’t allowed to be near me…”

Teddy then said Erin came over to him when Eden wasn’t around to say “Teddy, I’m sorry I’m not allowed to talk to you.”

“I actually think that Erin and I do get along really well, it’s just that Eden is quite possessive, and he didn’t want her talking to me, so she didn’t for most of the time,” he said.

He has also spoken to news.com.au about Eden, saying there are fights we haven’t seen that are really fucked up.

“The things Eden would say to Erin, the names he would call her. if my mum heard me say any of those things to a woman, I’d be in big trouble. It was really disgusting … I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”

Channel 9 have since made a statement about the comments.

“Love Island is a show about relationships and the welfare of our contestants in those relationships is always paramount. Our psychologist is on site for all of the intense decision making and is available 24/7 to all islanders every step of the way. Nine and ITV put the welfare of our islanders at the top of our agendas. We are closely monitoring all the couplings.”
