Love Island runners-up Erin Barnett and Eden Dally have announced they’ve parted ways in Instagram posts shared earlier today.

Erin and Eden came second to Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp on Australia’s first season of the reality TV show. Tayla and Grant called it quits two weeks after the show finished airing because of Grant’s apparent not-girlfriend-but-girlfriend on the outside.

In matching statements posted to their respective Instagram accounts, Erin and Eden wrote:

We wanted to share with you, that after much deliberation, we have quietly parted ways.

We look back and cherish the time we have spent together, the memories we have created, in both Spain and in Australia.

We can’t thank each and everyone of you enough, for the support and love you have shown us, but we have to be honest within ourselves as we realise that our forever as a couple, is no longer.

We look forward to supporting each other moving forward and remain best friends.

Love Erin & Eden

On Love Island, Erin and Eden stayed together for the duration of the show despite some ups and downs, and were hot faves for a bunch of viewers.

The reality TV couple join a number of others who have announced their split over the past couple of weeks including Bachelor in Paradise favourites Megan Marx and Jake Ellis, Tara Pavlovic and Sam Cochrane, and Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate.

My Love Island knowledge is a bit rusty but if I’m correct, this makes Millie Fuller and Mark O’Dare the last remaining couple from the show.

The couple were recently being all cute together during a trip to Disneyland, Hong Kong.
