One of life’s greatest joys is syncing inappropriate music to serious video footage, creating a mood far different to what its creator had intended. It’s so simple, yet so entertaining.
In the latest example of this comedy gold, Twitter user @rachlikesbands placed a variety of pop songs over a 30-second clip of the throne room scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. What follows is equal parts hilarious and mesmerising.
