Netflix’s ‘Punisher’ Series Has A Release Date & A Bloodsoaked Trailer

Anyone who is keen for more murderous vigilantism in their Netflix subscription are no doubt keen for the standalone Punisher series. Joe Bernthal‘s version of Frank Castle, who already popped up in Daredevil season 2, is getting his own show, and Netflix has confirmed that it’s landing on November 17.

There’s a tasty new trailer here for you too:

There’s been a little bit of a hitch around the release of details about The Punisher. The mass shooting in Las Vegas understandably fermented some bad vibes around a show about a vigilante shooting people, resulting in a Comic-Con panel being cancelled. But it seems after going to the ground for a little while, they’re back.

The trailer looks pretty decent, especially if you’re looking for footage of people getting blasted to pieces with shotguns while thrash metal sounds off in the background. And in a way, isn’t that what we’re all looking for?
