The Dirt stars Douglas Booth as Nikki SixxDaniel Webber as Vince NeilIwan Rheonas as Mick Mars, and Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee. Based on the best-selling autobiography of the same name, the flick covers the band’s beginnings, raucous partying, many marriages, addictions, and dramas spanning their insane 38-year career.

You can suss out the trailer below.

Wild stuff. The Dirt was written and directed by Jeff Tremaine (best known for his work on Jackass), Rich Wilkes, and Amanda Adelson. If you’ve read the book, you’ll know it’s absolutely packed with stories from band members, managers, and other folks involved with Mötley Crüe. You’ll also know that some of those stories are so gnarly, there’s a good chance they won’t make it into the movie.

I listed a few of those stories in the yarn below if you’re keen on finding out more.

The Dirt is due to hit Netflix on the 22nd of March, so get your mates around, buy a few bottles of Jack, and get crazy with the Crüe.
