It would have been 2Pac‘s 45th birthday in the U.S. today, and the trailer for his biopic All Eyez On Me has dropped.
Demetrius Shipp Jr. plays Tupac Shakur in this very intense first trailer, featuring a voiceover from The Walking Dead‘s Danai Gurira as his mother Afeni Shakur. “This ain’t just about you. Like all black men you have a bullseye on your back,” she says.

One thing’s for sure: Shipp is a dead ringer for Shakur. The film also stars Jamal Woolard as The Notorious B.I.G, the same role he played in the Biggie biopic. It’s directed by Benny Boom, known mostly for his hip hop videos for the likes of Nicki Minaj and Sean Paul.
The film lands in November.
