Kevin Spacey Is Still Getting “Acting Offers” And Plotting His Comeback

Kevin Spacey

Mere weeks after he released a bizarre video to defend himself against accusations of sexual misconduct, it appears that disgraced former House of Cards star Kevin Spacey is keen to get back into his old career, with reports that he is fielding “offers” to return to acting.

Now, keep in mind that these reports need to be taken with a grain of salt, as the story comes via an anonymous “colleague” of Kevin Spacey’s, who may in fact just be Spacey himself, disguised in sunglasses and a fake moustache – there’s just no way of knowing.

Be that as it may, this supposed “colleague” told the New York Post this weekend that Spacey is “still getting acting offers from Europe and Russia … He’s just assumed he can come back [to American films] in a few years.”

Mind you, not all of Spacey’s associates seem to be on board. Following his recent video, in which he appeared in character as Frank Underwood from House Of Cards, an anonymous friend told the Post “it seems he’s flipped … I’ve never known him to act so irrationally.”

Late in 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of attempting to sexually assault him as a minor – after that, a number of others came forward with similar accusations, and he currently faces charges of sexual assault against a young restaurant employee.

As he awaits his arraignment next week, Spacey is said to be laying low in his manager Evan Lowenstein‘s Baltimore home. A source told The Baltimore Sun that his Frank Underwood video was shot in Lowenstein’s kitchen with a professional crew.

The former actor has made sporadic public appearances in recent weeks, at one point delivering pizza to waiting paparazzi in a baseball cap emblazoned with the slogan ‘Retired In 2017‘.  He intends to plead not guilty when he fronts up to court next week.
