Insane real-life Olympic dramas has deserve an equally insane cinematic retelling. I, Tonya appears to have done just fucking that.
The first full trailer for the upcoming retelling of the Tonya Harding saga has been released, featuring Margot Robbie as the titular figure skating anti-hero in all of her manic glory.
Spoiler alert, in case you haven’t caught up on the events leading up to the 1994 Winter Olympics: Harding was allegedly involved in a plot to hobble her Team USA teammate Nancy Kerrigan, with the help of her ex-husband and bodyguard.
That lil’ synopsis doesn’t do justice to how wild the whole situation became, but the new clip does give you a better idea. Also starring Allison Janney and Sebastian Stan, get immersed in that bonkers saga before its cinematic release on February 15:
