The CW network is currently working on a a series based around the DC Comics hero Hourman who is ‘a brilliant-yet-troubled pharmaceutical analyst who discovers that the visions that have plagued him since childhood are actually glimpses of tragic events occurring one hour in the future.’ SOLD.
The Hourman, also known as Rex Tyler (a good, strong superhero name), decides to use his powers for good/getting back his ex-wife and crime fighting hijinks ensue. The script is set to be written by Michael Caleo (of The Sopranos fame) making it fall squarely in the ‘one to torrent watch’ category.
Oooooo, so many broods.
This follows on from the potentially fantastic news that Fox are set to release a Batman prequel called ‘Gotham’, which will focus on Commissioner Gordon, and CW are in talks about potentially making ‘The Flash’ (speaks for itself) and ‘Amazon’, a possible Wonder Woman prequel.
