Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper, runner-up and winner of People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2011 respectively, will star together in a new feature, Place Beyond The Pines.
The film is directed by Derek Cianfrance, who previously worked with Gosling on the achingly sad Blue Valentine, and also stars nobodies Eva Mendes and Rose Byrne. True to his love of cars and women who love his love of cars (Drive), Pines sees Gosling as a motorbike stunt rider, because why the hell not? Cooper is the new cop who hunts him down, and there’s probably more plot but all you really need to know is that this film has lots of sexy men in it and Gosling’s hair is bleached blonde a la Point Break.
