Trying to suss out how a season of ‘The Bachelor‘ is going to play out is an arduous task, a game of cat and mouse with the producers, who are trying build up and subvert expectations with some judicious editing for the purposes of a satisfying narrative arc.
Will the person presented as nice and normal and lovely turn out to be nice and normal and lovely by the end, or will they ultimately be the drama enthusiast throwing cocktails left, right, and, additionally, centre? It’s impossible to say at this stage, but it’s nonetheless time to begin placing your bets.
Tara is the first glimpse we’re getting at the pyramid of human bodies on which this season’s bachelor, ‘Bachelorette‘ darling Matt J, will stand atop.
In this tiny teaser we’re told that Tara is 27, a nanny, and both loves and is very good at her job:
“Kids get attracted to me probably because I am a kid, but also because they can tell that I truly enjoy being around them.”
Don’t let her words fool you, she is absolutely an adult, and thus legally allowed to be an entrant on the show.
