Oh dear. This year’s crop of Bachelor villains have been denied the only thing that makes humiliating oneself on national television worth it: the status of socialite.
The Daily Telegraph reports that several Sydney PR types are banning the reality contestants from their promo parties, declaring the girls “boring” and “mean” and “not even as good as the ultimate villain Keira anyway.”
Okay, that last one we made up. But…. are we wrong?
One PR agent told the Daily Tele:
“People think that getting on a reality show is a ticket to being a socialite, but that isn’t the case. Maybe the winner and a couple of others might get a few invites, but they definitely wont be at the top of the guest list for the big events around town. They started out mean and now they are just boring. Who wants that at a party?”
Burn. This season’s crop of girls had several vying to be ‘the villain’, which is a weird thing to admit straight out of the gate. Own your cattiness, I suppose? Still, both Leah and Jen – this season’s wannabe villains – have already been eliminated, and will likely fade into obscurity a touch faster than normal.
