Watch Robert Downey Jr Present A 7 Year-Old With An Iron Man Robotic Arm

It’s entirely possible that Robert Downey Jr is straight-up one of the most charming men currently walking the planet. There’s just an effortless cool that he carries with him everywhere.

So with that said you might want to grab the tissues and get ready to feel, because this has got ugly happy crying embedded in its code.
The actor who’s innate sense of snark perfectly fills the sarcastic shoes of Tony Stark lent a hand to Microsoft and their Collective Project initiative, who had paired with a group started by Albert Manero, a University of Central Florida student, who make free bionic arms using 3-D printing for kids in need. That group’s name is the absolutely genius Limbitless Solutions, which in and of itself deserves a standing ovation.
Downey surprised 7 year-old Alex Pring, who is missing his right arm just above the elbow. Alex got his first robotic arm last year, and since received one that resembles a Transformers arm.
Going one step further in the cool stakes, Downey brought Alex a brand new arm, done up to look like the arm of Iron Man – complete with working lights – housed in its own special Stark Industries case. Downey even brought along the arm from the Iron Man movie suit so they could hang out and be awesome together whilst every adult ever suddenly got dust in their eyes.

What? Shut up. You’re crying. I have allergies.
