WATCH: NSW Premier Mike Baird Drags ‘The Bachelor’ On ‘The Project’

NSW Premier Mike Baird sat down on The Project panel tonight, and quite possibly gave one of the most down-to-earth interviews a politician has ever given.
The charismatic leader of New South Wales was clearly on the show to discuss the lights that will soon be installed in Martin Place, in memorial of the Lindt Cafe Siege that happened in December last year.
However, he also ran through a few other topics such as surfing, being mates with Tony Abbott, the potential changes to GST, how much he hates Melbourne (due to his ongoing public ribbing competition with Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews), how much he loves Taylor Swift, and finally, The Bachelor
Baird was grinning the whole way through Carrie Bickmore accusing him of actually secretly loving the show, after he live-tweeted one episode insisting he was stuck on the couch with ‘man-flu’ and his daughters made him watch it.
But then, he came in hot with this zinger:
“That was the worst piece of television I’ve ever seen in my life. I will never ever watch that again; I never will. It’s not good for anyone or anything. My daughters love it.”
While the hosts could barely stop laughing, Waleed Aly did vocalise his concern that they may have been taken off live air. And like, seeing as The Bachelor and The Project are both on Channel 10, it’s slightly miraculous they weren’t, or that Bairdy wasn’t black-bagged and taken off the panel to be beaten in a back-alley by Ch.10 monkeys.
