This one hones in on Viola Davis‘ character Amanda Waller, who’s previously been overshadowed by Margot Robbie‘s baseball bat-wrangling Harley Quinn and Jared Leto‘s positively psychotic Joker.
Amanda “The Wall” Waller is a ruthless government agent who’s responsible for directing the Suicide Squad on their mission. Will Smith‘s character Deadshot calls her “a mean lady“; she calls herself “your consequence”.
“Getting people to act against their own self-interest is what I do for a living,” Amanda says in the trailer, proving that even in a film about a rag tag team of villains she still stands out as a fucking psychopath.
Suicide Squad hits cinemas August 5, 2016. Get ready m8s.
