There’s been an awful lot of articles written about Kim Kardashian‘s robbery earlier this week, and maybe by this stage you’re sick of hearing about it – if so, why the hell did you click on this article you numpty?
It’s hard for some people to believe, but it turns out one of the world’s most famous women getting robbed at gunpoint in an ‘Ocean’s 11‘-style heist is actually pretty newsworthy. How shocking.
At the moment most of the discussion is around either a) shutting down the dickheads who are joking about how this is a good thing and b) trying to figure out how the fuck it happened.
Tonight ‘The Project‘ spoke to Kim’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis, to ask him how something like this can manage to happen to someone so high profile.
Stanulis is pretty convinced it was an inside job:
“I have no doubt it was an inside job. There were too many series of events, as the facts unfolded, that lead to that. First of all, they pull up on bikes dressed as cops, so how does no one have any descriptions of these guys?“They show up to a location that’s secretive, no one’s supposed to know they’re even there. they knew there were no cameras in the lobby, they knew when Pascal, the main security, was gone. They don’t even ransack the room, they knew exactly where everything is.“Which leads me to believe that someone in their camp tipped them off. When i say someone in their camp, I mean that works for them, and/or somebody in the hotel that knew their itinerary and comings and goings.”
Waleed asked if these were maybe just things a professional could figure out from their social media, but Stanulis reckons that it was still and inside job and social media just would have helped them out:
“That was a big part of it, if these guys were having any hesitations that maybe the jewellery isn’t in the room, Kim was on snapchat 15 minutes earlier flashing it around, so, it was definitely a perfect storm to have something like this happen.”
It is worth noting that while he is a security professional, he was let go from the job by Kanye because he reckoned he was getting too cosy with Kim, so keep in mind that he might be a little disgruntled, have a watch:
