The wise maesters over at HBO have a question for you, the common-folk: who would you pick as the leader of Westeros, ruler of the Andals and the First Men?
While the obvious answer is Gendry (seriously, where the fuck is Gendry), Game Of Thrones‘ overlords have just churned out four campaign videos for you to peruse before lodging your very real vote at The GOT Party.
Your options are predictable: Daenerys Targaryen & Tyrion Lannister, who have proven themselves as pretty stellar conquerors – but not so great at keeping their subjects entirely conquered. But, they have dragons. Can’t forget the bloody dragons.
Then, you’ve got the dark horse candidates Petyr Baelish & Sansa Stark. Undoubtedly the slipperiest dude in the Seven Kingdoms, the bloke has got a mind for politics (read: bending people to his will). Plus, Sansa has not-so-subtly become a hardened goddamned Queen in the making herself:
There’s Jon Snow. Like, we get it, dude. You’re the shit. Then again, if you vote for Jon, you get goddamned Lyanna Mormont herself. Lyanna Mormont! One monarch from Bear Island is presumably worth a thousand from the mainland:
And, if you just want to watch the world burn – literally – just chuck a protest vote Cersei Lannister’s way. Because joy is pointless, and your Machiavellian tendencies need to be indulged:
