Mother of god, we expected Chris Rock to go in hard on #OscarsSoWhite in his opening monologue at the Academy Awards. But we didn’t expect him to light the earth on fire and dance in the falling ashes.
Rock’s opening stanza was solely focused on the race-equality issues that have been plaguing this year’s crop of Oscar nominations.
