Ahead of that emotionally traumatic day, 60 Minutes Australia has gone and scored themselves an exclusive preview of her new track ‘When We Were Young‘, ahead of their interview airing this Sunday at 8:10pm on Channel 9.

‘When We Were Young’ is more upbeat and less heartbreaking than ‘Hello‘, but then again, so is a funeral march. Skip to the 1:30 mark if you want to get straight into it:


The track is a collab between Adele and singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. “It’s got a very 70s vibe singer-songwriter vibe which I’m totally inspired by,” Adele said of her album to SiriusXM. “That’s also Tobias’ vibe as well.”

And on that note, this GIF of CDs emblazoned with her face is, quite frankly, utterly mesmerising.
